| Take copious notes of what you do so I can crib from you. :-) My car is at 155K and has dwindling compression in #6 along with a knock sound almost identical to yours. I've already got a "new" block on the bench and waiting to decide what to stuff in it. The coolant passage is cleared, the heads are already rebuilt, and the crank has been inspected - so all I need to do is pick out pistons, and start spending money. It won't be anything wild (400 hp at the crank?), but I want the headroom for extra power and not having to worry about walking home.  On the wish list:530bb turbos
